Radio Naya Nepal FM 104.5 MHz

The name of the community radio operated by Media Development Society Nepal is New Nepal FM. According to the purpose of the organization, community radio has been established to expand the access to information of citizens and to serve the community....The test broadcast was started from 15th November 2015 and the radio is currently being broadcast regularly. At present, the radio has a broadcasting capacity of 100 watts and is broadcasting for 18 hours daily (from 5 am to 11 pm).

It is a social organization established with the aim of being active for the development and expansion of the media sector and serving the information of rural citizens. Media Development Society Nepal has been doing various activities related to the operation of community radio, good governance, accountability and transparency related programs and media. This organization was established in the year 2065 by the journalists working in Darchula on their own initiative and activity. Media Development Society is a group of people active in the field of journalism in Nepal. The organization has a working committee of 13 members, while the organization has 28 ordinary members.
